GlaxoSmithKline plc is a global pharmaceutical, biological, and healthcare company headquartered in Greater London.  GSK is the world's second largest pharmaceutical company, measured by employees; and a research-based company with a wide portfolio of pharmaceutical products.

 

VGI Security Solutions were appointed to provide project and commissioning engineer teams for the installation of the local area networked security systems at GSK's headquarters in Brentford. Our team of engineers installed the CCTV system, with over 150 fully functional and static cameras, as well as the access control system.

 

A touch screen intrusion and intercom system were also incorporated within the scope of the project, as were the external perimeter detection systems and automatic number plate recognition system. In addition, the project also necessitated the provision of automated vehicle barriers and shutters as well as controlled pedestrian gates and turnstiles.
